Meet Pam.
Every week, she serves the people of Bayside and surrounds through our food relief program, The People’s Pantry.
Often, we’ve seen people running to give her big bear hugs.
Those struggling to make ends meet know Pam will always be there to support them.
Few know just how many volunteer hours Pam has given.
Over the years, she has given her time to Meals on Wheels NSW, Randwick State Emergency Service, St. Vincent de Paul, St Therese Catholic Church Mascot, RSL Corps of Guards. She also served as President of the Woman’s Royal Australian Army Corps.
Fittingly, today Pam was given the honour of being Bayside Council’s 2024 Citizen of the Year.
