We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Volunteer Manager to lead our team of dedicated volunteers at South Eastern Community Connect (SECC) in Eastlakes, Sydney.

As a key member of our team, you’ll play a vital role in promoting, recruiting, training, and supporting our volunteers, ensuring they have an exceptional experience and make a meaningful impact in our community.

About the role
Note: the role is part-time – 3 days a week, with contract ending 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension pending future funding

  • Coordinate volunteer promotion, recruitment, placement, training, and ongoing support
  • Develop and implement an annual Volunteer Strategy aligned with our strategic plan
  • Build and expand corporate volunteering partnerships
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and service specifications

  • Volunteer retention and growth (including corporate volunteering)
  • Volunteer training and development
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Experience in volunteer management and coordination

Salary

SCHADS Award Level 5.1 ($58,426.26) – Level 5.3 ($61,070.25) depending on experience
