Why Get Vaccinated?
Influenza is a serious illness that affects thousands of Australians every year. In 2024 alone, there were 366,000 reported cases, with many individuals experiencing severe complications that required hospitalisation. The flu vaccine is a simple and effective way to reduce your risk of getting sick and spreading the virus to others.
Who Can Participate?
Free Flu vaccinations is open to individuals aged 18 to 64, regardless of Medicare status. Qualified nurse immunisers will administer the vaccinations, and all records will be securely stored in the Australian Immunisation Register.
