South Eastern Community Connect’s Peoples Pantry is looking for a manager of its Community Food Pantry to run and organise pantry operations ensuring efficient food distribution, client engagement, volunteer coordination and stock management.
Short Term Contract: Until 30 June 2025
Part Time: 2 Days per week – Wednesday / Thursday – 7.6 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth running of Pantry operations employing good communication
and organizational skills - Maintain an organized and welcoming environment for pantry clients.
- Maintain and nurture good relationships with Pantry volunteers
- Maintain up to date records
- Management of stock, waste and donations
- Maintain Food Standards and Health & Safety

This position is paid under the SCHADS Award Level 2.3 – $35.51 per hour, plus super, plus salary packaging options.
Requirements:
- Certificate or equivalent qualification in Community Services is highly regarded
- High level communication and organisational skills
- Computer literacy
- Previous experience in delivering services to the community is highly regarded
- Hold a current full driving license, and are comfortable driving a small van
